Bus Driver
What You'll Do
-
Provide safe transport for children to and from the classroom site and special
activities such as field trips
-
Conduct a daily vehicle safety check and report any needed maintenance
-
Perform bus evacuations as Federal Performance Standards, the Head Start Act
or State and Local licensing requires

Assists in the classroom

What We Expect From You
-
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
-
Valid CDL with Ohio School Bus and Passenger endorsements
-
Remain current with all certifications, credentials and non-degree license
-
Attend transportation oriented trainings
-
Proof of auto insurance
-
Completion of background checks
-
Be able to pass initial and regular drug screenings
-
Maintain up-to-date medical examination (T-8 Physical) record on file each year
demonstrating that the driver is in good physical and mental health
